QuraLYT started with a frustration — every Qur'an app makes the same compromise. Cluttered. Ad-filled. Inaccessible. Not built for the elderly grandmother, the blind user, or the child with dyslexia who feels shame opening an app that was never made for them. The solution was clear: build it with dignity, build it free, build it as a sadaqah jariyah that continues beyond this life.
98 million Muslims had their location data sold to military-linked brokers — while using a Qur'an app. Every major app is built around ads, paywalls, or data extraction. None were built to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility. None gave every surah its own artwork. None planned 114 languages. QuraLYT was built because this was not acceptable.

1.8 billion Muslims. Languages like Fulfulde, Bambara, Wolof, Dinka, and Tigrinya have never had a Qur'an app built for them. QuraLYT plans 114 languages — one per surah — with a special focus on the communities technology has always ignored. The Qur'an belongs to every Muslim on earth.
The full Qur'an, all core translations, all audio, LYTSnap™, LYTTouch™, and all accessibility features will remain free forever. This is not a marketing decision. It is an intention made for the sake of Allah — a sadaqah jariyah that in sha Allah continues beyond this life.
I built QuraLYT alone. Not "we". Just me — every screen, every design decision, every line, every detail. No team. No funding. One person helped with an icon — and may Allah reward him for it. Everything else is mine, built in spare hours, between a job search and daily life.
My life is waqf to this work. Not for recognition. Not for money. Only for my akhirah and the pleasure of Allah. QuraLYT will launch — whether support comes or not. Whether it takes six months or two years. That part is not conditional on anyone.
